New York [RR] AWKA—Mrs. Bianca Ojukwu said that current seating Ama-Nbara State Governor Peter Obi, is better than all the past governors, since the creation of Ama-Nbara State, including her own father, late governor Christain Onoh. 

According to impeccable source, the wife of National leader of All Progressive Grand Alliance [APGA] Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu made the remark at the weekend, in a dinner hosted by Operation Peace of Mind [OPM], US-based organization at the Doubletree Hotel in Dallas, Texas Republicreport.com, gathered.   

Mrs. Ojukwu commended the organizers of the event for their effort to generate funds to reach out to the less privileged in Ama-Nbara State, adding, “your support for my developmental effort are immeasurable”, Ojukwu added.

Gov. Peter Obi has been described as the best Governor Anambra State has had since the creation of the State.  The wife of the National leader of APGA, Mrs Bianca Ojukwu made this assertion at the weekend in the faraway USA during a dinner hosted by Operation Peace of Mind (OPM), a USA based international non-profit organization at the Doubletree Hotel in Dallas.

Mrs. Ojukwu while making her speech commended the organizers of the event for trying to raise money and reach out to Anambra State and support her developmental efforts through many means. He assured them that Gov. Peter Obi was during everything possible towards repositioning of Anambra State as nobody had done before and told the organizers to feel free to work with him as his commitment to Anambra State was total.

Describing the Governor as very prudent with funds, he told the organizers that the Governor would not have “wasted” public funds coming to America if not that the programme is for the benefit of Anambra State. In any case, she said that he was in America in route to Haiti where he led the Federal Government delegation to ascertain the level of damage wrought on the country by earthquake.

Also describing Anambra State as a working and tireless Governors she said that the Governor had built more roads in the State than any past Governor. She concluded that what set him wide apart was the fact that even beyond road construction, the Governor is simultaneously developing all sectors through the Anambra State Integrated Development Strategy.

In their speeches, Gov. Obi and the National Chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Umeh called on other Anambra people in the Diaspora to emulate the efforts of Dr. Sunny Igboanugo towards contributing to the development of the State.

Earlier before the dinner, there were sessions where the Governor interacted with some investors, manufactures of repute and the children of the State whom he appealed to always remember their roots and have in mind that they have parts to play in the development of the State.

The occasion at which the National Leader of APGA, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu was the Guest of Honour had in attendance, the Mayor of the City of Lewisville, Mr. Dean Ueckert; the Chief of Police of Lewisville Police Department, Russel Kerbow and Nigerians in the  Diaspora and from home, among many other guests.
