Despite the questionable climate, Republic Reporters investigations at the UN discovered from insider sources at the UN that while the indigenous people annually danced and drummed, the so-called ‘Big FIVE”, that include: United States, France, Britain, China and Russia in collaboration with Multinational oil corporations, International Monetary Fund (IMF) World Bank (Bank) and others are busy looting indigenous peoples minerals (solid/Liquid) from these devastated communities such as Ogoni-Land, Ijaw, Ukwa-Ngwa (indeed, in specifically the entire former Republic Of Biafra); not to mention Native American-Lands, Native Latin-American-Lands, Bolivia, Australia-Native-Lands, and other indigenous territories to mention but a few, in the name of liberalization and privatization.

New York [RR] BOSTON–MASS–Mr. Mohamed is a spoilt, unfulfilled, angry and spiteful old man. He throws temper tantrums like a spoilt brat from an indulging upper class family. He is incapable of controlling his temper. He is impermeable to learning. At 70 years he still behaves as a teenage son denied a car to take his girlfriend to class party. Although he has been a head of state he still acts if he does not know that words have meaning and impact. Mr. Mohamed Buhari has a lot of growing up to do. My fear is that he may not have a lot of time.

New York [RR] ABUJA–Boko Haram issues new threats and says all government establishments in northern Nigeria and Abuja should be evacuated in preparation for deadly attacks. The extremist Boko Haram sect says it is set to resume its deadly attacks with sights now aimed at bombing government-owned properties, offices and residential quarters, in the 19 northern states and Abuja.

New York [RR] ABUJA–The Minister of Finance, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, yesterday in Abuja asked the National Assembly to quickly approve the Federal Government’s external borrowing plan of $7.9b, about N1.8 trillion. Okonjo-Iweala made the request during an oversight visit to her office, by members of the House Committee on Finance. President Goodluck Jonathan had written the Senate and House of Representatives in February seeking approval for the loans to fund key projects in various sectors of the economy.
